    Spin-bath regeneration in viscous fiber industry

    • By a chemical reaction sodium sulfate and water develop out of soda lye and sulfuric acid. In viscose fiber factory the so-called spinbath is used up and diluted during the spinning process.
      In former times this spinbath was used only one time and after that drained as waste water which caused heavy environmental load and high operation cost. This made it necessary to regenerate the spinbath and feed it back into the process or to produce from a part of it a saleable product.

      In this case the crystals are separated by classification according to size in a sedimentation zone. The coarse portion may be discharged through an extra outlet while the fine portion remains in suspension.
